Washington Housing Conservancy Honored at National Building Museum Gala

The WHC team gets recognized for a year of remarkable progress.

On Wednesday, May 29, the 2019 National Building Museum Gala honored all of the work and progress made this past year by JBG SMITH and Federal City Council in establishing the Washington Housing Initiative (WHI). The Washington Housing Conservancy (WHC) is the independent non-profit dedicated to preserving and sustaining affordable workforce housing in the DC region, and represents service-oriented outlet of WHI. As part of the celebration, former DC Mayor and WHC Board Chair Anthony Williams accepted the award on behalf of the entire team. It was an amazing night celebrating all that has been accomplished by WHI and highlighting the significant work being done by WHC as it strives to combat displacement and preserve and nurture connected communities across the DC region.
